Personally I’m troubled with the situations where highly educated people like you trash our old knowledge. You talk about conjecture and actually showing the methodology..I dont dispute that…but you have realize you are deeply engrossed in western methodology ..according to which human intelligence is paramount and anything that cannot be grasped by human intelligence is myth/legend/mystery/unexplained. Its very much practical and much of the industrial revolution owes to that thinking.

But spirituality is a far superior tool to get intelligence albeit very difficult to achieve..the vedic seers showed its possible…It may very well be the case they asked Surya deva “what is the speed of the light” and he gave the answer..That probably is the leap of faith we educated indians should to take to truly get the gist of the vedas..ultimately the goal of science is spirituality…if is not..its worthless….
