My concern is ploriferation of PGP programs in Management.
Is there any regulatory body in India which is responsible for quality of such programs.
In Indore(M.P.) itself there are 28 colleges offering these programs.
Fee charged varies from 3 to 8 lacs.
These college operate in Commercial Buildings, and no norms of operation are there.
They have touts(commission agents)for admitting the students and naive students from villages are getting fooled.

Thanks... I have been a long-time reader of your blog. There was a hiatus of about a year when I could not read it but I have been following your writings here since a few months.

Lately I have found your posts much more vitriolic than before, especially against the Congress party and Manmohan Singh who despite everything you say are probably the best India has right now.

But I really liked this post. I liked the way you have presented it, the points you discuss and the other articles you link to. Kapil Sibal is a smart man and I think he is earnest. I too hope that in the next 5 years he brings about major reform in India's education infrastructure.

Thanks.
