Another interesting thing I found out in the last few years was that in North India, Diwali is regarded as the home coming of Lord Rama after his war against Ravana. In the south of India, the Krishna-Narakasura conflict seems to be more prevalent. Given than mythologically both Rama and Krishna lived in the North of India, I wonder where this difference came from.

Nevertheless, it&#039;s quite cool that there are two mythological bases for the same festival.</description>
