		<description>Atanu,

Tata Motors, by producing Nano has changed the game of auto industry not just in India, but on a Global Scale. It is an achievement which should be lauded and should not be connected with other issues.

What astonishes me though is that the boom in Indian auto industry is being subsidized by the Indian Tax Payer, in the form of subsidized Gas. Why don&#039;t any of the environmentalists bring this up or for that matter the economic experts. I am sure if Indian drivers were to pay the real price of Gas, the sales of autos will definitely slow down. The Public sector petroleum giants are losing 80,000 Crores, this money could have been easliy utilized for better education, medical benefits and infrastructure. But alas this isn&#039;t to be.
