I liked his arguments but disagree with him. The impact of that war on Pakistani psyche and Indian psyche is invaluable. We all know the whole Pakistani self-aggrandizing ideas of being brave martial races and descendants of Alexander, Ghauri, Ghazni who will always kick Indian (hindu) rears. Well, they couldn't say that anymore. Anyone with an iota of commonsense in TSP recognized that they are not going to match India in a conventional war. Probably the reason we have not had any more full scale wars since then. With all due respect for Gen Thapan – It is easy to call the B’desh war incorrect in hindsight.
