Blogspot Censored?

If you have been unable to access blogspot today (as I have been), then here is a work around. Use Anonymouse.org.

This public service announcement has been made possible by a grant from the Freedom Foundation (which hopes to have an office in India in a few centuries.)

    or use pkblogs.com/blogspotname

Some of the newly compter literate staff at bsnl have not figured out how to unblock blogspot after it was banned in July. So some regions have a problem.

    Oh no! not again!

this left-of-center government is taking us to “ban”-lands, taking Advani seriously anyone? see his statements:

or, perhaps it is some temporary failure? i am checking on other website reporting on this matter, there are none at the moment. in fact, i can see at least one blog being updated today!

however, such an interference from the government, be it petrol prices or web control, is bound to hamper the society from being totally free and transparent. what we need is a government doing its job: that of making policy decisions, enforcing laws and regulations, and managing strategic social assets fairly (education, water, etc.). any overstepping in these regards is an aberration we can not afford.

Many, but not quite all, of my Blogspot feeds are down in my aggregator (Liferea) so I’m thinking there’s a major — though I hope temporary — server problem.
