Take for instance the Motion Induced Blindness. Pretty amazing. Or how about the Freezing Rotation Illusion?
I agree with your assessment of perception. The difference between comprehension and perception is homework. The purpose of study is to “continue on around the elephant.” Thanks for that link that highlights it so vividly. I have a paper on my Website “The Science of Context” that builds off of your assessment. Thanks again for the link.
