From the movie Crimson Tide. " ... I am here to protect democracy, Not to practice it ..."

I don't agree with the quote, but I still like it :)

for all those who do not know BRITISH does NOT include southern IRELAND (EIRE)

Atanu's response: Thanks. I was aware of that. I changed the line to say "commentator on British TV" instead of "British commentator on TV".

“I see dead people ALL THE TIME” is my fav line too...

One of my favorite movies, Apollo 13 is fraught with some cool quotes. Ed Harris saying "Failure is not an option".

On one other occassion he shouts "lets look at this from a status perspective..."

AND.. if you have seen CASINO .. its full of another one of my favorite word... "FUCK" :-)

Atanu,

As far as Sholay goes whole movie is quoteworthy.
Examples.

Gabbar : Kitne Aadmi They.
Gabbar : Yeh Haath humko de de.

Jai : Mujhe to Saare Police waalon ki shaklain ek jaise dikhti hai.

Thakur: Loha garam hai maar do hathoda
Thakur: Paisa jo tum chahon, Kaam jo main chahon

Regards

One more that comes to my mind is HUMLOG tv series (1984). Ashok Kumar almost always used to end his closing monologue with the word humlog (...dekhenge Humlog, etc)
