Random is justifiably an epithet, the adjective of increasing entropy. I never got the cuteness bug from "practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty." (Part of the "write random aphorisms" school?) I applaud the notion to be less stingy in one's acts of generosity, without necessarily weighing them for a direct quid pro quo.
