Atanu,

Thank our lucky stars that Buddhists don't issue Fatwahs. Truth is one thing; its expression another.

The content is understandable, but the presentation is puzzling. Why the Buddhist context? Am I missing something here?

Sri, fatwas are issued only by idiotic monotheistic retards (but I repeat myself.) Buddhism, like other Indian philosophies, is not insecure. We love to have fun with our religions and its symbols. My way of having fun is to use the structure of the Heart Sutra from the Mahayana Tradition to outline mundane truths.

Ramesh, the Buddhist context is just for having fun. I think that one of the greatest insights that any human has ever had was the one that Gautama Siddhartha had. Even better was the way he presented his argument: first the recognition of the problem (NT#1), then the cause of the problem (NT#2), then the existence of the solution (NT#3) and finally the solution (NT#4 as the 8-Fold Path).

I like the format very much and copy it whereever I can. Recognize the problem, find out the cause, eradicate the cause, etc.
