After listenning to your all discussion i would like to inform you that , the track is right but the method is wrong . you are thinking frm one prespective that is basic resource should be implemented in right manner and stopping sucess use of computer in the village side. Agreed on point that people need basic things first and stop vendors getting there wares used and making bucks. What i expect is that this penetration of technology should be implemented only and if only after finding all sides of sucess. A person who dont know how to turn pages is thrown for cliking buttons of computer--is he knowing what he is doing, what is the purpose of is work, or just others are doing me is also doing so that i get the benefit what others are gettings--such all things should be taken into consideration and then implement. As per know let this people brought to town in their respective area by organizing basic facilities --food--knowledge for their upliftment--and teach them how to start with something and Concerned authorities like deputy collectors--IAS officers--Politicians should be made part of this mass development. Time frame should be set and work is carried. If delays exist ask the authorites reason for it--Sheet be designed on how work is carried faithfully and dishonest and insincerety should be treated properly. As far as my knowledge is concerned laws exist but not implemented the way it is required....This may sort out the solution.

Hi Atanu,
Wonderful observation of diversity in unity of India. We are "Jump to conclusion" country. And we have jumped to the conclusion that "India is becoming the IT Superpower". Just imagine a malnourished/illitrate/hungry/tormented/dying person will be able to make a SOS call with a click of a button. Get the bigger picture ? India is Shining man.

I remember here - some Russion Queen, when she came to know about the poor russians crying for bread . She asked, "Then Why Don't they eat cakes?".

PROBLEM SOLVED.

Santosh, off topic, but Marie Antoinette was the one rumored to have said "Let them eat cake" in the context you mentioned just before the French Revolution? There is supposedly no evidence that she actually did say that, but it is too good a story not to repeat.
